Shahrukh Khan Wants To Avert The Clash Between RAEES and KAABIL

Saturday, 9th July 2016, 03:00 PM IST After ‘Dilwale’ didn’t receive a favorable response at the box office as the film clashed with multi-starrer ‘Bajirao Mastani’, the superstar now wants to release his film without locking horns with big movies and hence has taken the responsibility to avert the clash. There were three movies slated to release in the same week on, Republic day, however Ajay Devgn’s ‘Baadshaho’ delayed its release date. Talking about the same, SRK in a recent media interaction revealed, “We have spoken to Hrithik and also Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar (producers of Raees). That was a month ago, but I guess now we can do some adjustments. Rakeshji (Rakesh Roshan) and Ritesh and Farhan will be meeting again. We are trying to figure things out, so we don’t have a clash.” He further said, “I think a big film should release in 3,500-4,000 theatres. When two big films release, we don’t get the magnitude of theatrical release we want. Till the time we don’t have 8,000-10,000 theatres, no two big films can come. Raees is nearly ready, we are only left to shoot that last shot.” Now you can enjoy ad-free experience by downloading India’sfirst Box Office mobile app from here –Android: http://bit.ly/BOCapsuleMobileApp and iOS: bit.ly/BOCapsuleiOSApp |
