"Ek Tha Tiger" created havoc on Day 1 with extraordinary numbers with collection touching 32 cr nett plus and establishing new record by huge margin. Though film failed to sustain it next day as expected out of a working day.
But to be fair, film witnessed surprising drop in places like Ratlam, Indore, Jaipur, Latur and other smaller centers. A Salman Khan film never witnessed this much fall in smaller towns in last couple of years. Still film can get benefit of doubt and verdict will be out after obseving film's performance over the weekend and Eid holiday on Monday.
Film has to cross 130 cr in 6 days otherwise film will struggle to cross landmark 200 cr nett and highest ever grosser "3 Idiots". Good news is that film is still holding well in northen part o country.
As per official figures, film collected 14.25 cr nett on Day 2 taking its two day total to 46.50 cr nett. This is a good number but film should not drop further in next two days otherwise it will throw away benefit of awesome first day number. As per early trends on Friday, film has shown further drops of 15% in smaller centers and bigger centers remained on somewhat similar levels. Film is looking to settle for 12-13 cr nett on Friday. We will give you final update tonight at 11.
