EK THA TIGER Maintains Steam On 2^nd Friday At Box Office

“Ek Tha Tiger” drops a bit alarmingly on 9^th Day causing concern among Salman fans and distributors alike. But as expected, film returned to its normal run on 2^nd Friday at box office. Though film started rather slowly in morning but as the day progressed, fans started pouring in big numbers to maintain the film’s steam at box office. Film lost some business at multiplexes to Hollywood release “The Expendables 2” but the affect was minimal.

Film finished week 1 with 145.50 cr nett and now it is 57 cr nett short of highest grosser “3Idiots”. Film is still strong in single screens at certain places and multiplexes are strictly average. Film has to collect 40 cr in 2^nd week to give 200 cr a realistic shot.

Film collected 7.50 cr nett  as per early estimates but this figure can vary by couple of crores as there are really different kind of bookings in different centers which was the case in last week too.
