JOKER Registers Humilating Figures On Day One
“Joker” is not a film and it is not flop too. It is a joke and but audience have given back to the makers. It is a colossal disaster and already going down badly.
Film was expected to start slowly but a 15-20% opening of a film starring Akshay Kumar is shocker. Shows were cancelled and distributors were rushing to producers for recovery already. Film had best numbers in NCR and East Punjab where traditionally Akshay Kumar film do well but even there occupancy never rose beyond 25%.
Film overall had occupancy of 25% which is bad for a film released across 2200 screens. Film is expected to fetch at least 3.5-4 cr nett on day depending upon late eveining shows. Unless a turnaround haapens in a big way tomorrow, this is a mammoth disaster in making.
