All New Bollywood Releases Bite The Dust At Box Office
In addition to “Joker”, there were bunch of Bollywood releases this weekend and all of those met with the expected result. What was interesting that every film belonged to the different genre.
Ranvir Shourie, Rajat Kapoor and Neha Dhupia are back with "I M 24" and this time too they failed like their earlier releases. People are bored of watching them again and again in same kind of so called "different" films. Film had overall occupancy of 5-7% and there is no hope of growth in coming days.
Young romantic flick "From Sydney With Love" was another release starring newcomers and produced by old banners of Bollywood and grand son of Pramod Chakrobarthy who gave first chance to Akshay Kumar. Film was promotes well but due to bad content, it tank without any trace. Opening was in the range of 5%-6% and film will be out of most of cinemas by Monday.
Another new release was off beat thought provoking "Jalpari" which was expected to do well in limited screens at mutiplexes but again half baked story coupled with amateurish direction did the film in. Overall film had only 3-5% of opening and this will be the case in next two days too.
