Marathi Film TIMEPASS Registers Humongous Week One

On one hand Bollywood films are breaking new barriers at box office but on the other hand regional cinema is also growing up in distinct way. Last week Marathi film ''Timepass'' took huge start at box office over the weekend and now creating big waves at box office.

Film collected huge 1.70 cr nett, 2.20 cr nett and 2.70 cr nett over the weekend. Film dropped hardly by 25% that too from Sunday and managed 2 cr nett on Monday. Film collected 1.90 cr nett on Tuesday and 1.80 cr nett on Wednesday and 1.70 cr nett on Thursday as per early trends and now film has collected 12.30 cr nett in 6 days which is superb.

Film was released in 250 cinemas with 700 shows but with such a response on Saturday itself film got jump in number of shows. Now film is running in 850 shows. This is remarkable achievement for small film and earth shattering one for Marathi industry.
