ROAR Had Below Average Week One

The actor who starred in musical hit ''Rang'' opposite Divya Bharti  20 years back, Kamal Saddanah  is now back with interesting project ''Roar'' as director. Film was never expected to score big but managed decent numbers on day one.

As we mentioned in our review, film was expected to score over Indra Kumar''s ''Super Naani'' which opened to horrible numbers. ''Roar'' managed to draw crowds in smaller centers and even metros were not washout. Due to extensive release and intriguing topic, film did well on day one.

Film collected 1.60 cr nett on day one and this was good number considering there was not much expectation from the film. Film grew only marginally by almost 15% and collected 1.80 cr nett. Film added similar 1.80 cr nett on Sunday without any distinct growth. Film added 2.75-2.90 cr nett on weekdays which was not upto the mark.

Film collected 5.20 cr nett over weekend and close to 8 cr nett in week one. As  of now it seems to heading for 10 cr nett lifetime business at best! This is poor number for a film made on 20 cr plus budget.
