Media reported that filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar's most ambitious project "Heroine", starring Kareena Kapoor, has got an A certificate from the Censor Board.
Bhandarkar says he had expected the film, which is loosely based on the reality behind the world of glitz and glamour, will get an A certificate. But Bhandarkar clarified that film is still in the edit stage so question of getting any certificate does not arise. Only the film's trailer has got A certificate.
"As expected got a "A" certificate from the censor board. Countdown begins for the launch of the poster and promo of Heroine," Bhandarkar posted on his Twitter page.
Don't worry Mr BHandarkar; "The Dirty Picture" was also for adults and it gave Vidya her first Best Actress National Award. We hope the A certificate works in film's favour.
