As month of November coming closer, there are speculations, rumors and more rumors surrounding release of films on 13th November, Diwali 2013. We probed little further and had some discussions with sources close to the both the films, "Son Of Sardaar" and "Jab Tak Hai Jaan". And here what we got.

First of all, we all know that most of the good single screens have been booked by Yash Raj Films when they booked screens for "Ek Tha Tiger". So one thing is sure that"Son Of Sardaar" will find real difficult to find good single screens on Diwali. In addition to this we all know that Yash Chopra brand of romance will have a longer run than a more 1st weekend oriented action film. So 2ndweek and on "Jab Tak Hai Jaan"  will have a clear lead.

Second, "Son Of Sardaar" will have a huge opening in smaller centers and interiors. Film will have an advantage of action and hit star cast of Sonakashi Sinha and Ajay Devgn. But going by the past record, film will find difficult beyond 1stweekend.

After asking to every stakeholder involve in film business, one thing came out with certainty that"Son Of Sardaar" will release on pre decided date of 13th November.Makers of the film has super confidence over film's content and they are in no mood to step back.

But this has put exhibitors and distributors in a fix. Though most of them agree that Diwali is a too big occasion and it can easily accommodate two films. We will get to know soon that how big will be Diwali and who will win the battle at box office. But as of now the battle lines are drawn!

P.S. - Final word on this famous head on collision will likely to come around 30th September and expect some twist around that time, a third angle or one going back...watch this space for further developments!
