Sources indicate that Milan Luthria's "Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai 2", that has an ensemble starcast headed by Akshay Kumar, is scheduled to release on Eid 2013.
Obviously, this piece of information has created a buzz because from 2009; Eid has been reserved for Salman Khan, whose films "Wanted", "Dabangg","Bodyguard" and "Ek Tha Tiger" released on this occasion and went on to write box office history.
As of now, Salman hasn't booked Eid for any of his releases and instead the Akshay-Imran Khan starrer OUATIM 2 has blocked this date in 2013.
When asked whether there was any truth to the news of OUATIM 2 coming on Eid,director Milan Luthria said, "If I am not wrong, this will be Akshay, Imran and my first Eid release. My principal cast play Muslim characters and I also have Pritam's mellifluous Sufi score." In addition to this, sources have also told us that Salman is not interested for next EID as he is not happy with present script and status of "Sherkhan".
