Aamir Joins Hands With His Fraternity Friends To Solve Water Crisis

Thursday, 31st Mar 2016, 7:02 PM IST Last Monday morning, Aamir Khan met up with Ch Vidyasagar Rao, Governor of Maharashtra, and his wife Vinoda, at the Raj Bhavan to talk about the Satyamev Jayate Water Cup initiative to solve the water crisis in the state. He also discussed his plan of uniting with his friends from the Bollywood and Marathi film industry for his upcoming campaign trail through rural parts of Maharashtra. Later, the superstar invited his friends for a private dinner at his residence to elaborately discuss the issue. A guest informed, “He had discussed the initiative with Kangana first over a telephonic chat and had called her again to congratulate her on her recent National Award. She was among the early birds, along with Saif Ali Khan and Rajkumar Hirani, and spent time with Aamir and Kiran.” Friends from the Marathi film fraternity included Riteish Deshmukh, Reema Lagoo, Sai Tamhankar and Atul Kulkarni. Aamir was also joined by his ex-wife Reena Dutta, Sunny Leone and her husband Daniel Weber as well as Aamir’s Satyamev Jayate research team.
