Well, recently producer of the film Atul Kasbekar revealed that the actors who play terrorists were kept away from the other cast of the film. Atul said, "They were never allowed to mingle with passengers. Even their workshops were done separately and that's why they never met each other. The first time they saw each other was the time when the terrorists hold a gun on Sonam Kapoor and the passengers' faces. The shock of the whole sequence is extremely real and has been captured really well by Mitesh Mirchandani on camera." "They never met before and even when they met was the time when we had to shoot in the plane.
