Atul Agnihotri Was Unsure Of BODYGUARD 2

News reports stated that Salman Khan had asked his brother-in-law Atul Agnihotri to rework on ‘Bodyguard’s script, but rather, Atul is working on ‘Bharat’ with Salman Khan, which is up for Eid 2019 release. Atul says he was unsure of ‘Bodyguard 2’. The filmmaker quoted, “I wasn’t sure I wanted to encash on ‘Bodyguard 2’ when I had an opportunity to make another film with Salman. I was looking for something bigger, something with more conviction. At the end of the day, ‘Bodyguard’ was a formula film. What was beautiful about it was the twist in the climax. Without that we would only be taking the character forward and rather than do that, I wanted to engage in something far more challenging and cinematic.” Atul is now producing ‘Bharat’, which is going to be directed by Salman’s ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ director Ali Abbas Zafar.
