Hrithik Roshan and Katrina Kaif starrer ‘Bang Bang’ is one of the most expensive films made in Bollywood. It has been revealed that the movie is made with the whopping budget of Rs. 140cr including Prints & Advertising.

Well, let us figure out why the film reached at such a big budget.

The first reason is surely the actors of the film. Hrithik Roshan and Katrina Kaif are superstars and both the actors are surely one of the highest paid actors and we are sure that they have been paid quite well for this film as well.

The action sequences in the film are surely something to look forward to. The action scenes are choreographed by Hollywood action director Andy Armstrong and there are some hard-hitting action sequences like Hrithik performing water-ski after being tied to a sea-plane and driving a F1 car.

The movie is made on a large scale and the shooting of the film has taken place in Prague, US, Thailand and Greece, and many other cities.Taking the cast and crew of the film overseas would have surely been quite costly.

It is said that director Siddharth Anand wanted to make something larger-than-life and the producers believed in his vision and put no constraint in the budget of the film.

An insider opined, "‘Bang Bang’ is now the hottest film of 2014, a must watch that is riding on super buzz. A compromise on the vision would have completely botched up the look and feel of the film. So kudos to the studio and Siddharth Anand to not get jittery and finishing what they started out to do, which is to make a film that has never been made in Bollywood. ‘Bang Bang’ has redefined the action genre. It might be a while before any Bollywood actor does an action film of this scale as it would be difficult to match the vision of ‘Bang Bang’."
