Delhi High Court has sent Bollywood actor Rajpal Yadav to 10 days judicial custody for concealing facts about a Rs.5 crore recovery suit filed against him and his wife by a Delhi-based entrepreneur.

The court was irked by the conduct of the couple and counsel for repeatedly concealing the fact Dec 2 from the court, saying that Yadav's wife Radha was in Ghaziabad and would reach court.

As per reports, the court took a lenient view for his wife, as she had a small child with her.

Justice Murlidhar commented - "As far as defendant no. 3 (Radha) is concerned, court takes lenient view as she has a child with her. She will be in the room of the Registrar General till the closing hour of the court."

The court also ordered attachment of assets of the couple, and attached his bank account of the Axis Bank and a company owned by him.
