Director Mohit Suri has been signed by Karan Johar for an upcoming film that is set to feature Saif Ali Khan and Varun Dhawan.

It was reported that Karan Johar, Ekta Kapoor, Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif were partying last week, when Karan saw the trailer of Balaji’s ‘Ek Villain’ and loved it.  Ekta called Mohit over to KJo’s place at the stroke of midnight and it was soon decided that Mohit's next film after ‘Hamari Adhuri Kahani’ would be made under the Dharma Productions banner. 

If this film happens then Mohit’s film with Ramesh Taurani, starring Saif Ali Khan will have to wait till next year. But Mohit will get to work with Saif anyway,as rumours going around are that KJo’s film is set to feature the Nawab alongside Varun Dhawan.

"Karan is in advanced talks with both Saif and Varun. The story needs two male actors with an appreciable age difference between them. The modalities are being worked out,” said a source.
