Irrfan Khan Offered A Role In Ranbir Kapoor Starrer JAGGA JASOOS

Friday, 29th May 2015, 5:43 PM IST Irrfan Khan has been offered a role in Ranbir Kapoor starrer ‘Jagga Jasoos’. Apparently, the senior actor has been approached to play RK’s father in the film. Talking about being approached for a role in the film, Irrfan said, "I have been offered a role in 'Jagga Jasoos' and am considering it. But I have not decided anything yet." However, he didn’t give any details about the role. According to the grapevine, Irrfan has been offered the role of Ranbir’s father. A source said, "The makers were not happy with Govinda's shot portions and had approached Irrfan. He was seriously considering the offer, but gave it up after the audience appreciated his on-screen chemistry with Deepika Padukone in ‘Piku’. So, he didn't want to play Ranbir's dad. In any case, his date diary is packed and he has left for the US to shoot for a Hollywood project, 'Inferno'. He will return to India only in mid-July." Govinda has already shot for first schedule in Cape Town.
