John Abraham To Play A Footballer In An Upcoming Biopic

Thursday, 8th December 2016, 12:00 PM IST John Abraham will be soon seen playing footballer Shibdas Bhaduri in the upcoming movie ‘1911’. The movie will be produced by the actor himself. The actor has been willing to produce the same since two years now, but things weren’t materializing. Apparently, now the actor has decided to work on it and the hunt for the director is on. A source said, “John Abraham wanted to make a film on football for a very long time but he felt that it was going over-budget. So he had shelved it for two years and is now scouting for a director.” Talking about Bhaduri, the footballer had captained Kolkata football club Mohun Bagan in the historic 1911 IFA Shield Final, where they defeated the East Yorkshire Regiment with 2-1 to become the first Asian team to win the title.
