John Abraham To Play The Lead Role In The Biopic Of Boxing Legend Hawa Singh

John Abraham will be seen playing a boxer in the biopic of Boxing legend Hawa Singh’s biopic. Hawa Singh was the mentor of famous boxer Vijender Singh.He joined Army at the age of 19 years and some years later he dominated the Indian and Asian heavyweight boxing in his weight class.

John Abraham will be seen playing a boxer in the biopic of Boxing legend Hawa Singh’s biopic. Hawa Singh was the mentor of famous boxer Vijender Singh.He joined Army at the age of 19 years and some years later he dominated the Indian and Asian heavyweight boxing in his weight class.

Filmmakers have been keen to make a biopic on the legend as he held a record of winning National Championships in the heavyweight category 11 consecutive times from 1961 to 1972.

Sam Fernandez, who has worked with Vidhu Vinod Chopra, has bought the rights to Hawa Singh’s story. He will produce the film with his partner, John, and a studio. Sam confirmed the news about the biopic on Captain Hawa Singh.
