Detailed Analysis:
After success of 'Vixky Donor', 'Fukrey' and 'Delhi Belly', there is new fad in Bollywood of comic flicks set in backdrop of Delhi starring 2-3 newcomers. We had 'Mickey Virus' and many more biting the dust at box office. Now Balaji presents yet another such comic film. Film has rather clich story - two friends Kuku Mathur (Siddharth Gupta) and Ronnie Gulati (Ashish Juneja) live in middle class colony of Delhi. Kuku's father is 'babu' in goverment office and wants his son to have sound career and safe successful life but his son fails to live upto expectations. On the other hand, Ronnie has to work in his grandfather's women dress material shop - Ronnie's Petticoat and Blouse matching center. Kuku gets a job in film unit as assistant and tries to woo heroine. Kuku doesn't make much headway and his dream of opening his own restaurant is not going anywhere. But then his fate takes a U turn as Prabhakar (Amit Sial) makes an entry in his life. Prabhakar is street smart guy from Kanpur who advises Kuku to take shortcut to make money. How these two friends' lives get complicated forms the rest of the story.
Music is big minus and editing is poor. Art direction to background score all look half baked. But real culprit is writing which never rises above average. Film is predictable and tries too hard to be 'Vicky Donor'. Director Aman Sachdeva also shows no remorse to audience. He simply let the proceedings happen without much creativity or different treatment. Film will release today and should get niche release across 400 screens. Film will get competition from Bollywood release 'Citylights' and 'Heropanti'. Film should open with small initials but good word of mouth coupled with exceptional reviews can boost its prospects at box office and that also look tough.
