Monday, Mar 3, 3:25 PM IST It seems like the movie ‘BhoothnathReturns’ co-produced by Bhushan Kumar and Abhay Chopra will not be featuringany of Ram Sampath’s music compositions.
“Ram had a difficult time with theproducers of the film due to their differing views on the music royalty issue. Now he has decided to not work on this film,” says a source close to thecomposer.
During the film’s trailer launch, there wasno mention about the names of its music composers. However, Bhushan clarifiedthe issue by saying that it was “just a trailer launch”. According to him,“Once the music goes on air next week, the composers’ names will be mentioned.”He also mentioned that Ram is one of the three music directors who are workingon the film’s music composition.
Reports say that Bollywood actor RanbirKapoor was supposed to be doing a feature song in this film, but after all theconfusion about whether or not Ram is composing its songs, the actor decided tomake a guest appearance in the movie.
While Bhushan says, “We asked Ram to do a songwith Yo Yo Honey Singh, but that didn’t happen. I was okay with this becauseHoney Singh anyway composes his own song,” Ram has a total differentexplanation to give, “Let’s just say that I left the project due to creativedisagreements. That’s all there is to it and I have nothing else to say.” |
