Friday, 30th May 2014, 04:45 PM IST Amitabh Bachchan revealed the name of his upcoming film with R Balki. The film will be called ‘Shamitabh’ and will also be featuring south superstar Rajinikanth’s son-in-law Dhanush. Big B had earlier promised his fans on Twitter that he would reveal the name, tweeting, “Shall be disclosing name of R Balki film .. do log in .. it is quite unique and different !!” Later on he went on to reveal the name,tweeting “T 1498 - #SHAMITABH ... THE TITLE OF MY NEW FILM WITH R BALKI ..” When asked about the title, R Balki stated that ‘Sh’ was added to the title as it was the name of a character in the film. Amitabh plays a character who is the voice of Dhanush, a deaf and mute character in the film. The film has been shot at beautifullocations in Mumbai, Goa and Ooty. The film also stars Kamal Haasan’s younger daughter Akshara, which will be a debut for her. Big B worked with R Balki in ‘Cheeni Kum’and ‘Paa’ and started filming his new project in Goa last month. Buzz is that Amitabh will be seen in a new avatar in the film. | |||
