If sources are to be believed, in Tamil Nadu, the tickets for ‘Baahubal 2’ have all been sold out till May 2. Advance booking opened in the early hours of April 26 and the booking websites have already crashed. A spokesperson of a multiplex was heard quoting, “The advance booking has been extraordinary for ‘Baahubali 2’, we are already sold out till May 2, now we are trying to squeeze out more special shows to accommodate the craze for the film. I have not seen this kind of pressure from government officials, policemen, politicians, south Indian film celebs and corporates for tickets for the opening weekend”. There will be five shows every day at Tamil Nadu theaters and attempts are on to get another morning show as well. But the 2 hours 47 minutes run time has made things a bit difficult for the theater owners to pack together more shows. In Tamil Nadu, the film will hit in record 650 screens.
