News is that Tips Films’ 'It’s Entertainment' featuring Akshay Kumar and Tamannaah has been acquired by Jayantilal Gada-owned Pen India Pvt Ltd. Confirming this, Gada says, “It’s Entertainment has been acquired by us under Pen India and Zee has no role in it.”

That’s not all. In another deal, Gada has purchased the rights to Reliance Entertainment and Neeraj Pandey’s 'Total Siyapaa' featuring Ali Zafar and Yami Gautam. This film, however, will be exploited by ‘& Pictures’, a Zee-owned entity. However, there is a new arrangement to this acquisition. Gada explains, “After the success of Shah Rukh Khan-starrer 'Chennai Express', both on the big screen and on television, ‘& Pictures’ has bought 'Total Siyapaa' in a new model of 50 per cent equity in an underwritten satellite deal. Reliance will underwrite the film overseas and has changed the release date to March 7. Now all the promotion and hype for the film will be done by Zee network.”

'Total Siyapaa' was initially scheduled to release on January 30. But after this deal, Reliance and Gada decided to postpone the release date so that they could go all out to promote the film in a big way.
