Tuesday, 28th Oct 2014, 4:04 PM IST Bejoy Nambiar’s ‘Wazir’ starring Amitabh Bachchan and Farhan Akhtar is produced by Vidhu Vinod Chopra and co-produced by Rajkumar Hirani. Hirani at the last minute suggested some changes in the script. The climax was twisted as per Hirani’s suggestion. A source said, "Before the film went on floors, Bejoy was given complete creative freedom but that doesn't seem to be the case now. He had a tight screenplay but when Raju went through it, he had some ideas about how the story about an amputee chess grandmaster (played by AmitabhBachchan) and Mumbai Police Commissioner and ATS chief (Farhan Akhtar) should end and suggested some additions." "Bejoy had certain reservations initially, but he's now okay with the alterations. Vidhu Vinod Chopra who penned the original story with Abhijat Joshi, felt that Raju's inputs will enhance the screenplay," added the source. Talking about the same, Bejoy just said, "I cannot comment on this."
