We reported that Raj Nidimoru-Krishna DK had signed Shahid Kapoor for their next film 'Farzi'. Now here’s what Nidimoru himself has to say, “It will be very different from what we have done to date. It’s more rustic and desi as the title suggests. Farzi means ‘cheat’ and we will most likely be shooting the film in Mumbai. We are currently recceing some locations on the streets of Mumbai. The story moves from one city to another and Kriti (Sanon) plays Shahid’s love interest.”

There are reports that Nawazuddin Siddiqui will be playing the lead villain but we are told he hasn’t signed on the dotted line yet. He’s upset about ‘news’ being published before he signs a film. Reason: There were reports that he was to feature in Raees but was replaced by Farhan Akhtar. Hence, he doesn’t want any negative publicity.
