Shahrukh Reads Movie Reviews Only If They Are Funny

At a recent event to promote his latest blockbuster ‘Happy New Year’, superstar Shahrukh Khan spoke about his sense of humour, and further revealed that he enjoys reading movie reviews that are funny.

On Wednesday, at an event, Shahrukh Khan revealed that hereads movie reviews only if they are funny; else, he just stays away from them.Said King Khan, "I don't read reviews (not taking away from the importanceof reviews)”.

He further added, "I have a sense of humour and most ofthe time my sense of humour is about how I can make fun of myself, about 70percent of the time; and 30 percent of the time it is about making fun ofothers. But they take it very, very, seriously; so I stopped doing it."

The superstar continued, "So, I do it just about myselfand if it's a review I try and catch it only if it's funny. If it's seriousabout how filmmaking should be, I am really serious about filmmaking, so Idon't really want to get into that.”

SRK’s latest release, ‘Happy New Year’, which hit theaterson October 24, is earning mega bucks at the box office and breaking records. Itcrossed Rs. 100 crore in the opening weekend itself.
