Sonam Kapoor Gets Slapped And Kicked For NEERJA

Tuesday, 16th June 2015, 6:02 PM IST Sonam Kapoor, who will be seen as Neerja Bhanot in the biopic titled ‘Neerja’, got slapped and kicked by model Abrar Zahoor who plays the antagonist in the film. Talking about it, Abrar said, “Ram (Madhwani) is a treat to work with. He wanted us to be as realistic as possible. In fact, there are scenes that required me to slap and kick Sonam. It was all real and in one scene I even kicked her in the stomach. She was amazing to work with and is so humble." He further revealed how he got the role. Abrar said, "Actually, one of my friends was to audition for this film. Since he was in Delhi, he asked me to go and try. They liked me. What also worked to my advantage was that I knew a little bit of Arabic. In my three-month training, I was also made to learn Arabic."
