Filmmaker Subhash Ghai has finalised a release date for his new film 'Kaanchi'. The film is slated to release on April 11.

As per a statement issued by the filmmaker's banner Mukta Arts, the film is about inner power of a woman who represents millions of suppressed youth against injustice in the country.

'Kaanchi' is directed and produced by Ghai, and its music is done by Ismail Darbar and Salim-Suleiman with lyrics by Irshad Kamil.
