Sunny Deol fans have got a reason to rejoice. J.P. Dutta has finally decided to follow-up his 1997 blockbuster“Border” with its sequel “Border 2”. An official announcement for the same will be made soon. Deol, who essayed the role of a Sikh commanding officer in “Border”, has been roped in for a pivotal role since he was an integral part of the movie.
A source close to the movie disclosed, “We are very happy that Sunny is doing ‘Border 2′ and the official announcement will be made once we finalize the rest of the star cast. He played a prominent role in the first film, so he will be seen in the sequel too in a prominent role”
“Border” was an adaptation from real life events. A critical and commercial hit at the box-office, the movie featured Sunny Deol, Akshaye Khanna, Suniel Shetty and Pooja Bhatt among others.
There is no news on the rest of the star cast yet. “Border 2” is all set to hit the floors by the end of October. | |||
