Few days ago, it was learnt that Sushant Singh Rajput would undergo special training at NASA for his upcoming film ‘Chanda Mama Door Ke’.

Few days ago, it was learnt that Sushant Singh Rajput would undergo special training at NASA for his upcoming film ‘Chanda Mama Door Ke’. The actor is preparing for the role of an astronaut, by participating in workshops and various training regimes aimed at acquainting him with the life of an astronaut, in as realistic a manner as possible.

Now, we finally have a glimpse of the training.

A picture has gone viral of the actor in a space suit. Sushant can be seen in professional astronaut gear with a harness around his waist. Sushant is said to be the first Indian actor to train at the space centre.

Says producer Viki Rajani, “We are very honored and privileged to be pioneering the first of its kind film in Bollywood and that Sushant Singh Rajput is the very Indian actor to train at NASA. The director Sanjay Puran Singh Chauhan has worked on the script and the technical detailing for the last 7-8 years. All this together will go a long way in putting together a truly authentic space odyssey.”

‘Chanda Mama Door Ke’ also stars R Madhavan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui and will be Bollywood’s first science fiction space film.
