However, if reports are to be believed, Hirani will be credited as an independent producer for his upcoming flick which will be a biopic on Sanjay Dutt. However Vidhu’s spokesperson has denied the reports. The movie will start rolling in the first half of 2016, and will star Ranbir Kapoor as Sanjay Dutt. The actress who will play the role of Manyata Dutt is not yet finalized.
