Vidya Balan Dons Look Inspired By Shobha Kapoor In BOBBY JASOOS
Vidya Balan is apparently set to don an avatar similar to Ekta Kapoor’s mother, Shobha Kapoor, in upcoming film ‘Bobby Jasoos’.

Vidya Balan will be seen in many different avatars in her upcoming film ‘Bobby Jasoos’. One of the many avatars is rumored to be that of Ekta Kapoor’s mother, Shobha Kapoor.

Incidentally, Shobha Kapoor produced Vidya’s hit film ‘The Dirty Picture’.

A source says, “In one of the scenes, Vidya is shown playing a television show producer named Makhila Kapoor. Forget the last name, we have also made her wear attire that is similar to Shobha Kapoor’s. Accordingly, she will wear a big bindi, dark lipstick and many strands of rudraksha around her neck, apart from some jewellery on her wrist.”

Apparently, Vidya tried 122 different avatars for the film, before zeroing in on 10 to 12 disguises. “In the film, she is seen as a beggar, an astrologer, a peon and a college student, among other looks. These looks have been put together by the production team after careful research,” says the source.

One of the crew members felt that since Vidya is close to Shobha and Ekta, she would be able to follow her mannerisms quite easily. “Of course, it has all been done in a very light-hearted fashion. It is just aspoof and we are hoping that everyone will understand it and take it in the right spirit.”
