After garnering a decent response to recent murder mystery ‘The Xpose’ which has gained 18 crore till date, actor-producer Himesh Reshammiya has planned a sequel to the movie.

Himesh,however, has come across an obstruction in his plans as director Ananth Narayan Mahadevan has asked for a 60% price hike in his fee. The film’s producers do not seem too happy with his demands. Supposedly, if Ananth doesn’t relent, the film’s producers will replace him with someone else.

“I was told to make the film at a cost of Rs 9 crore and I did not go over by even a rupee. And irrespective of what you've heard, I think I will direct ‘The Xpose 2’," Ananth said.

Creative producer Rakesh Upadhyay said, "Himesh is yet to take the call on Ananth's demand for a hike."
