Salman Khan Not Ready To Give A Commitment Till His Court Verdict Is Out

The superstar was approached to promote J&K tourism, but he turned down the offer as he wants to keep it low profile till his court verdict is out. On Thursday, reigning People's Democratic Party (PDP) met Salman and requested him to promote the Valley as after the floods the footfalls of the visitors have gone down. However, after an hour of meeting, Salman said a no and told them that he has decided not to make any commitments till the verdict of his hit-and-run case is out. The verdict will be out on 6th May. A source said, "The leader requested Salman to spread the word that everything is fine in Jammu and Kashmir as tourists' footfall has hit an all-time low. Salman turned it down saying that he will give it a thought later, only after the verdict in his on-going trial is delivered in the first week of May." "He will not sign any endorsements or be seen promoting any brand and this is a decision he's taken after many discussions with his team," added the source. Salman’s spokesperson confirmed the news.
