Friday, 29th May 2015, 5:39 PM IST Govinda was the first choice to play Ranbir Kapoor’s father in Anurag Basu’s ‘Jagga Jasoos’. He later walked out of the film and there were reports that Anil Kapoor will replace him. However, now it is said that it’s not Anil but Amitabh Bachchan who will play the role of RK’s father in the film. Apparently, Govinda had shot his part, but when later the makers asked him to give fresh dates to re-shoot a few sequences, he didn’t agree to it and walked out of the film. An insider had said that Anil was almost on board to play Ranbir’s father, however now Big B’s name has come up for the film.
