Thursday, 12th Nov 2015, 2:24 PM IST After a lot of deletions, the current length of Sooraj Barjatya’s ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’ is 2 hours and 50 minutes. However, latest reports state that the movie will be edited some more, as a few veteran members of the film industry have advised so. There was a buzz that Salman Khan’s father, writer Salim Khan, watched the film and suggest some edits in the movie and Barjatya’s father Rajkumar Barjatya also seconded this suggestion. “Rajji is the most democratic filmmaker in Mumbai. He shows his films to all his friends and relatives to seek their suggestions. This film too has been no exception. A lot of people have opined that the film is too long, so now it will be shortened by 15 minutes or so,” says a source close to the project. Apparently, there is a lengthy football match sequence in the current cut. “Rajji has persuaded Sooraj to edit that out. Also, there are too many songs in the film and a few of them may be pulled out too before its Diwali release,” informed the source.
