Friday, 13th Nov 2015, 2:36 PM IST Ranbir Kapoor has had three flops back to back in the recent past. Now that his next film ‘Tamasha’ is about to release he is surrounded by a lot of skepticism and he feels he deserves every bit of criticism for his box-office failures. Recently in an interview Ranbir said, “I don't think critics have been harsh on me. I have got amazing response for most of my films. So, I deserve this criticism because those were my choices. I have been lucky enough to have got a lot of support from my fans. I took all the praise with a big heart so I should take the criticism well too.” He further added, “People should feel skeptical about me. It makes me work harder. It makes me not take my work for granted. It makes me realise that all the love and praise I was getting meant something. To earn that back, it will mean more now because you go through this phase. I don't know if I will get it back or not but definitely the desire is to prove myself again and start from scratch.” However, his co-star and ex-girlfriend Deepika feels, “Sorry, but there is nothing like Ranbir needs to prove himself again. Every actor or individual goes through ups and downs in his or her career. I am sure his intentions have never been to make a flop film. When he does a film, he does it with the right intention but sometimes the way the story is interpreted by the director or the execution goes wrong or the movie is not that relevant at that point of time and it does not click with the audience.” Now you can enjoy ad-free experience by downloading India’s first Box Office mobile app from here –Android: http://bit.ly/BOCapsuleMobileApp and iOS: bit.ly/BOCapsuleiOSApp |
