Sunday, 10th July 2016, 02:00 PM IST Harshvardhan Kapoor, son of Anil Kapoor, is set to make his Bollywood debut with Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra’s ‘Mirzya’. The film is an adaptation of the tragic romantic tale of Mirza and Sahiba. The actor has been roped in for Vikramaditya Motwane’s ‘Bhavesh Joshi’ as well. However, he revealed that he also wants to produce and direct the films apart from acting in them. In a recent interview, Harshvardhan revealed, “After ‘Bhavesh Joshi’ I want to take some time off to go back to what I was like before. No responsibilities, nothing.” He further said, “I want to direct and produce too. This is a director’s medium and some of the best struggle to make the films they want to. Anand Gandhi, a good friend and one of the few directors capable of achieving global success, found it so hard to make ‘Ship of Theseus’. I’ll definitely work with him some day. For now it’s the vigilante. With Mirzya, I’ve surpassed my own expectations, with ‘Bhavesh Joshi’ I want to take it a notch higher.” Now you can enjoy ad-free experience by downloading India’sfirst Box Office mobile app from here –Android: http://bit.ly/BOCapsuleMobileApp and iOS: bit.ly/BOCapsuleiOSApp |
