Ranbir Kapoor Clarifies On Commenting About Aishwarya Rai Bachchan

While promoting the film, Ranbir in an interview with a radio station commented about how nervous he was while performing intimate scenes with Aishwarya. It was Aishwarya who made him comfortable and asked him to be professional. He said, “Sharam aati thi, mere haath shiver hote the. Kabhi Kabhi main unke gaal ko touch karne main jhijhakta tha. Phir unhone hi bola, ‘Listen, what’s wrong with you? We are acting, cmon’ do it properly.’ Phir maine socha, kabhi aisa mauka milega nahi, so maine bhi mauke pe chauka maar diya!” That statement coming from Ranbir sure did make a few headlines in the newspapers. The actor has, however, clarified his statements saying that“Aishwarya is such a superb actor and also a family friend. She’s one of India’s most talented and respected women. I will be forever grateful to her for her contribution to ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’.
