Music Composers: Vishal-Shekhar Lyricists: Jaideep Sahni Aditya Chopra’s Bold & Vivacious “Befikre” a story that celebrates being carefree in love. The film stars the on screen & off Screen carefree Ranveer Singh along with Vaani Kapoor who came across as a surprise package through the trailer complimenting her costar completely. The film is all set to hit theaters worldwide on Dec 9th, 2016. Let’s listen to the album to know if it’s bold & musical too. ‘Nashe Si Chadh Gayi’ the first song of the album sung by the astonishing & versatile Arijit Singh. An absolute treat to groove to has already hit the popularity charts and can be heard across all night clubs, blasted in cars, Tv dance shows name it & it’s there. Vishal – Shekhar’s composition to the cute & expressive lyrics gives us a bountiful of beats & melody with this track starting with that perfect raindrop sound & progressing to a different world by the end of the song. Ratings: 4.5/5 The second of the album is the title track ‘Ude Dil Befikre’ sung by Benny Dayal with effortlessly has an amazing Arabian feel to it and is extremely pleasing to the ears. Ratings: 4/5 The next song the romantic ‘Je T’Aime’ in Vishal Dadlani & Sunidhi’s seasoned voices. Meaning I Love you in French & the after effects that follow the phrase. Starts as a slow song progressing to a faster pace but lacks that ultimate feeling that you should be feeling as the listener and may go a miss. Ratings: 2.5/5 ‘You & Me’ sung by Nikhil D’Souza & Rachel Varghese in their modernized style of singing. This one can be termed as a very simple & easy going composition just like the plot of the film. The end would remind of a strong resemblance to a English classic all you need is the right hear for music. Ratings: 2.5/5 The one to follow is ‘Labon Ka Karobaar’ in Papon’s euphoric voice. This one’s a complete Broadway Moulin Rouge feel. Composed stylishly & blended well by some incredible singing & lyrics. Ratings: 3.5/5 Then a Punjabi track ‘Khulke Dhulke’ in Gippy Garewal’s earthy voice complimented by Harshdeep Kaur. A very average track leaving it there failing to make it a special one to dance to. Ratings: 2.5/5 The music album of ‘Befikre’ is a mix of some amazing groovy tracks and a few that will go completely unnoticed. A sincere attempt by the composer duo of giving the film the right feel through its music seeming a little confused at times… I term that as nothing else but simple pressure with an Aditya Chopra Film!!!!!!!
