Sunday, 11th February 2016, 12:00 PM IST Pakistan’s Film Examining Committee has banned Akshay Kumar starrer ‘Jolly LLB 2’ because the movie covers the controversial Kashmir issue. The Pakistan film board has banned several Bollywood movies which take a stance on Kashmir. Earlier, Shahrukh Khan’s ‘Raees’ also got banned as it shows a Muslim in negative light. A source said, “In ‘Jolly LLB 2’ Akshay Kumar plays a lawyer who treats his profession casually until he comes across the case of an innocent man who is killed and declared a Kashmiri militant while the real Kashmiri militant goes into hiding in Uttar Pradesh. Bringing up the Kashmiri issue has not gone down well with the Pakistani censor board. They’ve banned the film, as they intend to ban all Indian films that bring up the Kashmir issue.” Now you can enjoy ad-free experience by downloading India’sfirst Box Office mobile app from here –Android: http://bit.ly/BOCapsuleMobileApp and iOS: bit.ly/BOCapsuleiOSApp |
