CBFC Asks Makers To Get NOC, If They Are Making Movies On Well-Known Individuals
| |||
Sunday, 26th February 2016, 12:00 PM IST The CBFC has now made some stringent rules for the filmmakers. Under the new guidelines of the board, it says that the producers will have to bring NOC from individuals on whom the biographies will be made. Directors make movies on the true stories of individuals and sometimes the matters go to the courts. Recently, Shahrukh Khan’s ‘Raees’ got in some trouble as the movie depicted a true story of an infamous bootlegger of Gujarat. CBFC Chief, Pahlaj said, “Filmmakers will not be allowed to sit on the fence. Either your work is based on true characters. Or it is a work of fiction. If you claim your film is based on facts then get us an NOC from the people concerned.” Now you can enjoy ad-free experience by downloading India’sfirst Box Office mobile app from here –Android: http://bit.ly/BOCapsuleMobileApp and iOS: bit.ly/BOCapsuleiOSApp |
