Monday, 27th February 2016, 12:00 PM IST Prakash Jha’s women-oriented movie ‘Lipstick Under My Burkha’ got much support from the film fraternity after CBFC denied it of the certificate. Now, the makers have decided to move to Film Certification Appellate Tribunal for the certification. The movie was screened at various international film festivals and garnered much appreciation, but it is facing issues in the country where it is made. CBFC said that the fantasies of women shown in the movie cannot be shown. It revolves around the life of four women from different backgrounds and it portrays the real life of women in urban and semi-urban regions.
