Priyanka Chopra’s Production House Launches First Sikkimese Film Ever

Saturday, 11th March 2016, 12:00 PM IST Priyanka Chopra’s production house Purple Pebble Pictures, in association with Sikkim Tourism Ministry, launched the first Sikkimese film ‘Pahuna’. It is a story about three children separated from their parents. Interestingly, the cast and the crew for the team were all from Sikkim. A source said, “‘Pahuna’ is a story about the love, strength and courage of three Nepali children who get separated from their parents, while fleeing the Maoist agitation from Nepal to Sikkim.” On announcement of the film, Priyanka Chopra said, “This is a genre that I have always been very excited about and I am glad that I am in a position today to do something meaningful in this space.
