Saturday, 1st April 2017, 4:07 PM IST Shah Rukh Khan and Malaika Arora Khan dancing on Chaiyya Chaiyya on the train’s rooftop has become iconic in today’s date, but did you know that Shah Rukh Khan actually had to fool Mani Ratnam so that he could dance on top of the train? Legendary lyricist and writer Gulzar recently revealed that the song is inspired by a Sufi song called ‘Thaiyya Thaiyya’ by Bulleh Shah and the minute SRK heard the song, he wanted to perform on it at any cost. To do this, King Khan tricked Mani Ratnam into believing that the song was a deep poem on which he wanted to perform. But in real, Shah Rukh just wanted to dance on the song. Mani in fact even confirmed with Gulzar, who said yes to support SRK, and that is how Shah Rukh Khan could dance on ‘Chaiyya Chaiyya’.
