Friday, 7th Apr 2017, 02:11 PM IST 2016’s biggest hit ‘Dangal’ has been loved by all. No wonder, a distributor from Pakistan requested the makers of the film to release it in his country as well. However, Aamir Khan refused to do so when he learnt of one of their demands – that the Indian National Anthem at the end of the movie must be deleted. While Aamir Khan and the film’s team were initially fine with the release of ‘Dangal’ in Pakistan, the release was stalled following an unexpected demand from the authorities of Pakistan. It is learnt that when the film went to the Pakistan censor board, they demanded that two particular scenes – one which included the Indian flag and another in which the Indian National Anthem is played – be deleted before ‘Dangal’s release in Pak. On learning this, Aamir, who also is the producer of ‘Dangal’, decided that the film would not be released in Pakistan.
