A source was quoted saying, “The makers approached Salman and Hrithik initially for the role (in ‘2.0’) but they took a lot of time to give their nod. Talks didn’t materialise and when they discussed it with Akshay, they needed someone immediately to begin shoot and they agreed to all his demands.”

Now Akshay Kumar’s ‘2.0’ is facing clash with Aamir Khan’s ‘Secret Superstar’.
