However, Paresh Rawal has denied such speculations. Rawal said, “Akshay Kumar is not playing Narendra Modi. 3/4th script is complete and we will be starting the film next March-April.” Paresh further confirmed that he’ll be playing Modi’s role. He said, “It’ll be very challenging to play him. I have to go beyond copying his mannerisms. There are many people who can mimic him. I don’t want to mimic him and that’s why it’s more difficult.” About the prep for the role, Rawal said, “Now I’m seeing him almost every day. You can prepare by staying detached, not by meeting him every day.” Paresh Rawal’s next release is Guest Iin London, which releases on 6th July, 2017.
