Speculations about Karan Johar‘s ‘Student Of The Year 2’ lead cast are rife ever since the project has been announced.

Just yesterday there were reports that it’s not Jhanvi Kapoor, but Chunkey Panday’s daughter Ananya, who has been finalised to play the leading lady in the film. But now the latest news is that both Jhanvi and Ananya will be playing the female leads.

Dharma Productions’ CEO Apoorva Mehta has confirmed that soon they will start shooting for the film. “Apart from Sushant Singh Rajput and Jacqueline Fernandez’ ‘Drive’, we also have ‘Student of the Year 2’, which is being directed by Puneet Malhotra and stars Tiger Shroff. We will be launching some new girls.” He didn’t mention the name of the debutants.
